MEET KATHRYN

Kathryn Lehman with Berks DA John Adams

Kathryn began her legal career in the Berks County Public Defender’s Office before moving to the District Attorney’s Office, where she has served for many years. One of her most recent achievements includes leading the prosecution in Berks County’s largest fentanyl bust—four kilos of the deadly drug. Kathryn’s background as a social worker, defense attorney, and prosecutor, allows her to make common sense decisions.  Individuals suffering from mental health issues and drug addiction, need help.  While those committing heinous acts, need to be held accountable.

In addition to her legal career, Kathryn is the President of the Berks County Field Hockey Officials Association and remains an active official, overseeing collegiate, high school, and middle school games. Kathryn is also an instructor at the Reading Police Academy.

Kathryn believes that, as a Common Pleas Judge, her duty is to apply the law as it is written, not to create or change policy. She is committed to upholding the U.S. Constitution, the Pennsylvania Constitution, and the laws of the Commonwealth—making decisions based solely on the facts and the law.

Kathryn lives with her husband in Ontelaunee Township, along with their two beloved dogs, retired Sheriff K9s Max and Sasha. Her dedication to Berks County runs deep, and as Judge, she’s ready to apply the law with fairness, upholding the Constitution and focusing on the law as it stands.

Kathryn asks for your support by voting on May 20, 2025.
